Self-Esteem Group Work.

Everyone has an idea of who they are as a person, a sense of self-esteem. Sometimes, however, when people have adverse childhood experiences, a difficult adolescence, a challenging adult life, or all of the above, their sense of self can be skewed and their self-esteem lowered.

Low self-esteem can lead to people-pleasing, perfectionism, social withdrawal, negative self-talk, difficulty setting boundaries, a lack of confidence and struggling to accept compliments. Through guided discovery about the origins of your low self-esteem and behavioural work to challenge old unhelpful behaviours, you can overcome these symptoms and start to feel better about yourself.

This group will run for 8 weeks and aims to gently encourage participants to examine unhelpful thoughts and change their behaviours in a way that will meaningfully impact their self-esteem. If that sounds like something you’re interested in trying, sign up now!
